I had my baby girl Callie-Jane on the 25th of febuary 2009. she was 5.13lbs born at 7.49am she
faught for her life with all her might but sadly she lost her fight at 13.15 just five precious
hours is all we got with her. atleast i had that.
At 22weeks pregnant we went for our secound scan and we were told our baby looked like she had
polycystic kidneys, and there was no fluid around my precious baby. we went to london for a more
acurate scan and that confirmed it. we were told that i was waiting to loose my baby and the
sonographer doubted my baby would last the next two weeks.
At 36 weeks Callie-Jane was born living and trying to breathe. doctors had to put her on a
ventelator to help her breathe. following test confirmed she had polycystic kidneys and hypoplastic
lungs and also potters syndrome both of these results of the polycystic kidneys. there was nothing
that could be done we decided to take her of the machiene the doctors gave her pain relief so
everything would be as comfortable as possible for her. she faught some more but sadly past soon
after.
Im just greatfull we had that time with her atleast.
The memories of my beautifull baby girl are the most precious thing i have.
I have no regrets about continuing my pregnancy after finding out we were loosing her.

I cant beleve that its been 4 months already, the time has passed so quikly but the pain is still with us all, specially ur mummy and daddy.
They cant write to you at the moment as they have no computer, but they think of you everyday and love you so so much. Keep watching over them angel, they need ur blessing. They'r being so strong for 1 another you would be so proud. Faith arived the other day, shes so precious. Its just a shame that u never had the chance to grow up with her and become as good a friend with her as ur mummy is with auntie trisha.
Everybody misses you so much, Me and uncle Granty are gutted that we never got to hold u or kiss you on the head. Your mummy and daddy talk about you all the time And nanny tinas friend drew a beautifull picture of you for them. We just wish that we could have you here. Look after destiny for your mummy and keep watching over her and ur daddy. Sleep tight Flower.
